Bootheel Counseling Services and Family Medical Clinic is a private, not-for-profit organization providing services in Southeast Missouri since 1976. We are the State of Missouri’s Administrative Agent for mental health services for the counties of Scott, Stoddard, Mississippi and New Madrid.
FCC Behavioral Health
FCC Behavioral Health is a private, non-profit community behavioral health center with a proven history of delivering effective, person-centered, community-based care in rural Southern Missouri. Founded in 1976, FCC Behavioral Health continues to promote recovery by providing comprehensive, integrated care in order to improve people’s overall health and wellness.
FCC Behavioral Health offers a wide array of behavioral health programs for individuals and families. Programs include mental health, substance use disorders, healthcare home, housing, prevention, disease management and targeted outreach programs (i.e. ERE and CMHL). At each of our 27 clinics and treatment centers across Southern Missouri, qualified professionals provide a person-centered, wellness approach to care. Last year, FCC’s 400 staff served over 6,800 Missourian’s with behavioral health care.
Gibson Recovery Center
The Gibson Center works to bring every individual a new chance for a better life. We provide services to all people without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap. The Gibson Center is a non-profit corporation formed for the purpose of creating and operating needed substance use services. It operates under the statutes and regulations of the State of Missouri which governs organizations of this type.
The Gibson Center is a community agency in every sense. It is funded by contracts with the Missouri Department of Mental Health Division of Behavioral Health, Cape Girardeau County and Perry County Mill Tax, Missouri Foundation for Health, Department of Corrections, and Office of State Court Administrators. Most private insurances are accepted.
