Community Network Coordinator – Salary-Low to High30’s Negotiable depending on Education and Experience. Full time 40 hours per week M-F (Some Flexible hours)

 

Serve as Coordinator of the Healthy Start Community Action Network (CAN).

Seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and community driven individual to take on

this exciting role. Nurture new and old relationships with Community Partners and volunteers.

Community outreach, mobilization, recruitment, and coalition building skills preferred.

Provide information to various groups regarding the Healthy Start Project; make presentations, and network with other resources and professionals. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and a team player.

 

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred but not required. Work experience may be considered in place of education or a combination of certifications, trainings, and experience to support skills will be considered. Presentation and Written communication and writing skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs. Strong knowledge of social media platforms and marketing, business, or related fields.

 

Enjoys community outreach and the ability to recruit and use a range of outreach methods to engage individuals and groups in diverse settings. Experience as a volunteer, mentorship or with volunteer activities and programs a plus. Knowledge of community resources and Bootheel region. Meeting Facilitation, Volunteer Management and Supervision skills a plus.
