Saving Our Families

The mission of MBRC’s Saving Our Families program is to collaborate with faith-based partners and educate unwed couples on marriage training and education services. Saving our Families focuses on preparing mothers and fathers with enhanced skills in:

• Communication
• Relationship-building
• Anger management
• Financial management

Central to the Saving Our Families initiative is close, ongoing collaboration with faith-based organizations and area churches to strengthen families throughout the Bootheel service area. Other service providers to the program include local businesses, volunteers, MBRC staff, components of the Fatherhood First Program, and the program participants, all working together for positive change.
