MBRC’s Fatherhood First Program promotes the role of an active and positive father in the family unit. Fathers play a critical role in every aspect of a child’s development from infancy to young adulthood. The Fatherhood First program provides the following components for fathers and young men to support and establish healthy and productive relationships with their children and families.

The Fatherhood First Program utilizes a variety of approaches and group interventions, with a professional staff guiding fathers through the process.
Specific training components offered in each class will vary based on the individual needs of the group. Eligible men will be available to participate in conferences, workshops, the Annual Father & Child Fishing Clinic, and the Fatherhood Advisory Board.
